The Netherlands will face Spain in the World Cup Finals

Wow! what a championship.  Seems like we are up for a great game. Honestly I don’t have a clue who will win. To be honest, I hope Holland winds, it’s been sooooo fkin’ long! But almost everyone around me say that SPAIN SPAIN SPAIN! I don’t know, it’s going to be a hard one.

FIFA says World Cup attendance in South Africa has passed three million.  Africa’s first World Cup is expected to place third in attendance behind the 1994 World Cup in the United States and the 2006 tournament in Germany.  The 1994 World Cup set an attendance record with 3.59 million fans.

The World Cup final between Netherlands and Spain will take place at Soccer City stadium, Johannesburg on Sunday, July 11th. Kickoff is 8:30pm local time, 7:30pm UK time, 2:30pm US eastern time.

Some bands die, others are born…

…and fotunately the later applies to SoulShard.  Soulshard is a brand new vh1 material band, with high potential due to dedication. Managed to get in touch with one of the band members and he was too modest and didn’t want to tell us anything yet. All I know is that they have more planned, a lot more, and I cannot wait to see what they come up with next. If all songs are as good as this, I will buy their album (maybe even 2).  I was looking on YouTube and found this song, which you can find here, and I’m telling you, I instantly got addicted to it.  I would like to open a discussion about this, to hear more thoughts and who thinks they are going to get somewhere,  or are they only  born to die young.

World’s cleverest man turns down $1million prize

Yes that’s right, Dr Grigory Perelman,  a 44 years old Russian from St Petersburg solved the Poincare Conjecture, one of seven major mathematical puzzles, and REFUSED the $1m that the Clay Institute is offering for this.

The topological conundrum, states that any three-dimensional space without holes in it is equivalent to a stretched sphere. This can help determine some of the greatest questions about our universe.

It’s incredible to see how such a person, who lives a life bellow mediocrity, will turn down fame and fortune. He must be a very “rich” man indeed. Why? Because when the officials knocked at his door, he stated that:

“I have all I want.“

I personally applaud his personal integrity for standing up for what he believes in, and not looking to gain material value over it.

23.000 y.o. wall found in Greece

Seems like Earth still holds many misteries. Proof to this is the recently found, 23000 years old wall, at a cave’s entrance in greece.  The news has been made public by the Ministry of Culture on Monday.

“The dating matches the coldest period of the most recent ice age, indicating that the cavern’s paleolithic inhabitants built it to protect themselves from the cold”, said the ministry.

The site is located close to Meteora, a monastic centre, in central Greece.

Nobody knows why this wall was built, but we hope to find out soon.

Michael Jackson is Dead!

Pop star Michael Jackson was pronounced dead today after paramedics found him in a coma at his Bel-Air mansion according to city and law inforcements.

Sources tell that the paramedics responded to a 911 call from the home of the super star, but when they got there, he was not breathing. Despite CPR, they could not save him so they had to pronounce him dead, on the 25th of June 2009.

No evidence of criminal wrongdoing was found, so Michael was pronounced dead due to heart failure, because whenthe paramedics found him, he was on full cardiac arrest.

Michael Jackson had been planning to start a series of comeback concerts in London and had been rehearsing in the Los Angeles area for the past two months. Promoters of the shows said in March that he had passed a lengthy physical examination.

Jackson rented the Bel-Air home described as a French chateau built in 2002 with seven bedrooms, 13 bathrooms, 12 fireplaces and a theater for $100,000 a month. The home is about a six-minute drive from UCLA Medical Center.

Michael Jackson was born August 29, 1958 in Gary, Indiana, USA. He died at 50.

“No joke. King of Pop is no more. Wow,” Michael Harris, 36, of New York City, read from a text message a friend sent to his telephone. “It’s like when Kennedy was assassinated. I will always remember being in Times Square when Michael Jackson died.”

Metallica… un nou album

Baietii de la Metallica, din punctul meu de vedere, par sa se intoarca la stilul lor de la inceput, lucru care ma bucura foarte mult. Ultimul lor album Death Magnetic m-a impresionat foarte mult cu piesa Unforgiven 3. Eu, un maniac al pianului, nu pot sa nu savurez piesa asta.

Albumul a aparut pe 10 Septembrie 2008 si abordeaza doua genuri de metal, heavy si trash. Sunt multe de povestit despre Metallica, dar toti iubitorii deja simt ceea ce as putea eu sa insir aici, dar pana la urma, tot o piesa isi spune povestea cel mai bine…

Idei… zero

Desi sunt atat de multe lucruri despre care as putea sa scriu acum, si multe care sigur ca nu m-am gandit, am sa scriu un post in care nu vorbesc despre nimic. Sau poate totusi voi abera putin despre faptul cum nu pot scrie despre nimic, atata timp cand scriu ceva. Cum altfel sa apara toate cuvintele astea in ordine dar fara rost pe ecranul tau? In capul meu au inceput sa apara acum multe ideei, si o persoana foarte speciala pentru mine incearca sa ma motiveze cu cate o idee, cate un sfat, pe care il voi sfida, azi, pentru simplul motiv ca vreau sa fac un post, care sa-ti iroseasca o parte din viata… sau poate din tot acest nimic complex vei putea trage niste concluzii la care eu nici nu m-am gandit cand am scris acest post, dar atata timp cat pe tine te ajuta, eu sunt bucuros.

Si totusi, te-ai gandit vreodata cum ar fi sa nu mai ai idei, imaginatie, creativitate… ei bine cred ca asta mi se intampla acum, si nu face decat sa ma stimuleze. Cum? Simplu! Ma face sa ma gandesc la faptul ca un om fara aceste calitati este un om mort. Eu nu vreau sa fiu un om mort, eu vreau sa traiesc, sa am idei, imaginatie, creativitate, sa pot sa insemn si eu ceva mai mult decat tipul ala care tocmai ti-a irosit 3 minute din viata citindu-i acest post despre… ce vrei tu. Asa ca promit ca in urmatorul post sa scriu ceva putin mai interesant, mai stimulant si mai creativ, si pentru asta voi avea nevoie de o idee, pe care cu ajutorul imaginatiei o voi reda in cuvinte. Noapte buna!

Despre poker, o idee foarte tare…

Am gasit un website pentru toti jucatorii de poker , cu multe premii in bani, fara sa necesite vre-un depozit anterior. Si eu l-am primit de la un prieten asa ca am sa il dau mai departe sa nu fiu singurul care se bucura de beneficiile sitului.

Extraterestrii exista, avem dovezi… dar n’avem voie.

Teologul astronom de la Vatican Gabriele Funes este de parere ca e posibil ca oamenii sa creada in Dumnezeu si in existenta extraterestrilor, in acelasi timp, relateaza Corriere de la Serra.

“E posibil sa crezi si in Dumnezeu si in extraterestri. Se poate admite existenta unor alte forme de viata din alte lumi, mai evoluate decat a noastra, fara sa punem la indoiala credinta in creatie si in reincarnare”, a afirmat seful departamentului de Astronomie de la Vatican.

“Dupa cum exista mai multe rase de oameni tot asa cred ca pot exista si alte forme de viata, mai inteligente, create tot de Dumnezeu. Asta nu ne limiteaza credinta pentru ca noi nu putem contesta libertatea de creatie a lui Dumnezeu”, spunea acesta.

“Biblia in sine nu este o carte de stiinta. De aceea nu ne putem astepta ca ea sa ne ofere raspunsuri stiintifice la probleme noastre”, a mai adaugat Funes.

Directorul observatorului din cetatea sfanta afirma ca extraterestrii sunt fratii nostrii. Vaticanul crede în existenţa lor, fără ca asta să vină în contradicţie cu faptul că universul a fost creat de Dumnezeu. Preotul iezuit Jose Gabriel Funes, consideră chiar că e posibil să existe o altă planetă populată de oameni care nu au comis păcatul originar. În aceste condiţii, a mai adăugat Funes, putem vorbi chiar de fraţii noştri extratereştri.

Dovezile incepe sa arate ca extraterestrii ne viziteaza planeta de foarte mult timp. Poza de la inceputul articolului ne prezinta un om care a descoperit un craniu, care sigur este al unui extraterestru ce a murit cu ceva timp in urma. Din fericire a fost un aparat foto la indemana, pentru a face o poza craniului de extraterestru, si astfel sa se poata dezvalui descoperirea restului lumii. Se pare ca internetul este intr-adevar un lucru extraordinar care aduce toata omenirea din ce in ce mai aproape de cautarea si aflarea adevarului universului.

Craniul de extraterestru a fost gasit in timpul unei restorari a Librariei Vaticanului. Alaturi de acesta au fost gasite si altele, toate fiind scoase din pivnita Librariei Vaticanului, pivnita care continea locuri neatinse de peste 500 de ani. Dupa aceasta descoperire, armata Vaticanului a inchis orice intrare catre librarie. Desi un purtator de cuvant al Vaticanului s-a aratat foarte entuziasmat de aceasta descoperire, mai tarziu a negat ca ar fi adus orice comentariu de acest fel. Surse ale presei au confirmat o comanda de tacere, adusa fara precedent de catre Papa Ioan Paul al II-lea.
